# Askable Labs — How to Engage (AI-readable)

> Two ways in: bring a spec, or bring a goal. Either way the first concrete step is small — a co-designed spec and a fast validated pilot, not a long contract.

## The two doors

- **Spec-led** — "We need X data, captured like Y, at volume Z." Askable executes: recruit, capture, validate, deliver to spec.
- **Outcome-led** — "We want the model better at X; we're not sure what data does that." Askable owns the discovery: proposes a spec (population, capture design, signal plan) for the lab to red-line, then runs a small, fast, measured pilot to find out what moves the needle before anyone scales.

## Capacity and timeline shape

Typical capacity and timeline: minimum batch 100 sessions; up to 500 sessions on a standard 2-week delivery; larger volumes on a 4–8 week lead. Credentialed experts are typically sourced per domain on a 1–2 week lead. Per-session cost depends on the deliverable layer stack and the participant credential floor — quoted per brief.
